TrønderEnergi selected Meventus to support their wind turbine procurement process for the Midgard project cluster in Central Norway, consisting of Sørmarkfjellet, Stokkfjellet, Frøya, and Hundhammerfjellet.

Meventus lead the procurement strategy development and implementation, resulting in Turbine Supply- and Service agreements with Vestas for 78 turbines totaling 330 MW for the four projects. Due to the complexity of the terrain and wind conditions, Meventus Wind and Site energy yield and technical evaluations were critical for selection of the best turbine alternatives.

Meventus has also served as Owner’s engineer during the planning and construction phase, providing key technical expertise during the process while also ensuring all neighbor impact and permit requirements were properly addressed.
